I wrote this on 28 June 2003:

...just do it, spontaneously one day, and not tell anyone. It will be our secret... And then weapos;ll surprise everyone we know... I donapos;t care about a ring, i really donapos;t... And i donapos;t care about money... My parents have always known that i donapos;t want a traditional wedding. They know iapos;ve wanted to elope. I donapos;t want to have to walk down a huge aisle with hundreds of people staring at me. I want to keep it simple... I just want the actual marrying part to be intimate and spontaneously secretive.
